About

From Sussex, England. At home everywhere.

I’m obsessed with imagery, visuals.

I started up a successful retail business in 2002, with my mother and we called it FLINT in homage to the grey and white stone synonymous with Sussex. After many happy years trading as shopkeepers in Lewes, with a thriving interior design business alongside, we decided we needed a change of scene. I desperately wanted to move deeper into the countryside, where I am now based, living with my husband in a Medieval farmhouse surrounded by fields. My mother and I still work together on our interior design schemes for private clients and our online shop, both of which are now run from our studio beside the house. My work has led me onto all kinds of interesting projects and I now freelance for many brands, working with photographers, styling imagery for events, websites and brochures.

My extensive props cupboard is regularly raided for all sorts of things to help bring a scene to life and after careful planning I bring what I feel might be needed to each shoot, whether it may be the perfect glazed pot to match a particular fabric, or a pile of old books that I feel will sit just right on an antique table. I love nothing more than collaborating with like-minded people and seeing the hours of behind-the-scenes preparation come to fruition. I have been lucky enough to work with some of the best photographers in the industry and I always come away from each project with a fresh perspective, having learnt yet a new angle.

I hire out props and can organise wonderful flowers for all sorts of events and shoots. Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss possibilities.
